Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified
Nicole is a psychiatric nurse practitioner servicing the community in an emergency and psychiatric setting for over 15 years, providing care to patients of all ages. She has experience treating mental health emergencies, crises, and addiction. She graduated with a Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing and is board certified in treating patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorders, and many other mental health issues.
Nicole has experience providing psychotherapy and medication management to patients of various ages and backgrounds and has worked in a variety of critical care settings. She specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), holistic therapy approach, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She also specializes in family crisis intervention, couple's therapy, as well as premarital counseling.
She is motivated to reduce the stigma in the mental health & LGBTQ+ community as well as provide culturally competent care to all walks of life. She is passionate and committed to advocating for the best possible outcomes and therapeutic approaches for all patients. She is currently obtaining a Doctorate in Nursing Practice.

Shomari has an impressive educational background and extensive experience in providing mental health services, particularly to underserved populations. Graduating from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA, he holds Bachelor's and Master of Arts degrees in Communications from this historically black college or university (HBCU). Additionally, he pursued further education at New York University, earning Master's degrees in Social Work and Executive Public Administration.
With over a decade of experience, primarily in New York City, Harris has dedicated his career to offering clinical support to individuals from diverse backgrounds, and now practicing in Maryland as well. His focus on providing mental health services to Black men who have endured childhood sexual trauma underscores his commitment to addressing critical issues within marginalized communities, and all walks of life.
Harris is proficient in various clinical treatment modalities, including Psychoanalysis, which further enriches his therapeutic approach. His involvement as an adjunct lecturer at Columbia University School of Social Work speaks to his dedication to educating future mental health professionals. Specifically, he leads a 7-week Motivational Interviewing Skills Lab, imparting valuable knowledge and skills to aspiring social workers.
Through his education, experience, and teaching contributions, Shomari M. Harris exemplifies a compassionate and dedicated professional committed to improving mental health outcomes, particularly among underserved populations.
Kelly Keller-James is a compassionate and experienced dual-certified nurse practitioner with a profound commitment to enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities. With over 20 years in the healthcare industry, Kelly's journey began as a volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital, where her passion for nursing and patient care first flourished.
Kelly pursued her educational path with determination, earning an associate’s degree in nursing from Essex Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University. Her dedication to comprehensive patient care led her to achieve dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from Chamberlain University.
Throughout her career, Kelly has held pivotal roles including Emergency Nurse, ICU Nurse, and Vascular Access Nurse, each contributing to her holistic approach to patient care. Her extensive experience in emergency and critical care settings inspired her to pursue specialization in both family medicine and mental health, recognizing the integral connection between physical and mental well-being.
Currently, Kelly provides a wide range of services including psychotherapy, medication management, and treatment for conditions such as ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression. She is known for her empathetic approach and ability to build trusting relationships with her patients, advocating passionately for underserved populations and promoting social justice within healthcare.
Beyond her professional achievements, Kelly finds fulfillment in an active lifestyle, enjoying activities such as running and exercise. Her greatest joy, however, comes from spending quality time with her family, including her husband and two children, whom she cherishes deeply.
